Welcome to Prodigy Mathematics
Prodigy Mathematics is a series in the Martian Mathematics family that bridges the gap between primary school arithmetic and secondary school mathematics like geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. Unlike the Martian Mathematics series, Prodigy Mathematics is primarily a self study program.
Some chapters include Jupyter notebook work. A Jupyter notebook is a document that can contain text and pictures, but also Python computer code. Computer programming in Python is a powerful tool to enhance a student's mathematical understanding. Your student will need a Google account to work with Jupyter notebooks.
The mathematical skills your students learn here are applicable in all technical fields from physics and engineering to computer science as well as the social sciences and business school. So put your little geniuses on the track for success with Prodigy Mathematics.
About our Founder
Dr. David Ward is the father of six children and founder of Martian Mathematics. He earned a B.S. in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the College of Charleston, and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from MIT where he cofounded the field of polaritonics. He also did a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University in Biophysics. He was the founder and president of Piffany Inc., an MIT $100K finalist.
